Our role

We find experts in the specialty your case needs, put each one’s CV, fee and availability in front of you, and arrange the appointment once you instruct.

What we do

  • Match the specialty to the medical issues
  • Send each expert’s CV, fee and availability before any commitment
  • Take legally aided cases, with quotes that come within the legal aid rates
  • Arrange the appointment once you instruct, with a named case manager who manages the instruction through to delivery of the report
  • Find experts for claimants and defendants, in England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland

What we don’t do

  • Write the reports. The expert does, and the opinion is theirs.
  • Promise a report that supports your case. The expert’s duty is to the court, and it overrides any obligation to whoever instructs or pays them.

A named case manager sees it through.

Once you instruct, a named case manager arranges the appointment and manages the instruction through to delivery of the report. The expert can see your client in prison, in hospital or where they live, or by video where that suits the question.

Who do you work with?

Do you take cases in Scotland and Northern Ireland?

Yes. Tell us where the case is: each system has its own courts and rules, and in Scotland the expert gives evidence as a skilled witness.
